How did Little Dutch begin?

Little Dutch is a family business founded in the Netherlands. It started in a mother’s attic and has since grown into a company with more than 45 employees. Founder Rinke van der Helm, expecting her first child, wanted to find beautiful accessories for the nursery but, faced with little choice, started making them herself. She began with nursery lamps, which attracted a great deal of interest and excitement among the people she knew. That was the start of the Little Dutch journey. One lamp made in an attic grew into a much-loved international brand!
